Director Shaun Silva has a reputation for story-telling and #1 videos. He has earned several awards including a Telly, numerous CMT Awards, an Addy and a Billboard music video award, all while operating his Nashville-based production company, TackleBox Films.

California raised, Silva's dedication to his craft as a director has helped top Nashville artists such as Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and most recently Sugarland expand their appeal.

Says Silva, "If all I'm ever known as is a great storyteller then I've achieved what I set out to. No matter what format you're in, it's about telling stories that transcend genres."

The original goal of his company, TackleBox Films, was to create "compelling stories through the lure of film." Nearly a decade later, the company has expanded its roster of directors through the same approach that put it at the forefront of the Nashville film scene.

Shaun Silva continues to hone his directorial craft. He is constantly studying the ripples in the water looking for changes in the music video and commercial landscape.
